OCS Teachers Already Working and Planning for 22-23 School Year.

OCS teachers were up early yesterday, May 26th, and ready to plan for next year's students. Over 25 dedicated teachers came to the Professional Development Lab to work with Ms. Betha Crabtree on curriculum, pacing and unit prepping for the upcoming school year. We love our teachers for loving our students and working on their first day of summer break to be prepared for all the new kiddos.

Free Summer Feeding

The OCS School Nutrition program will hold summer feeding at Livingston Academy and A. H. Roberts Elementary. At both sites breakfast will be served from 7:30AM-8:30AM and Lunch will be served 11:00AM-12:30PM The program will run from May 31-July 1,2022


We are pleased to offer a two-week KinderBoost® program at A.H. Roberts for your child. This two-week program will be run by teachers who will work together to provide a variety of activities to prepare your child for the start of Kindergarten. Overton County Schools School Nutrition program is offering free summer meals. For more information please call the district office and ask for Debie Taylor

OCS Awarded Grant and Receives new Oven/Steamer

Overton County Schools was recently awarded a grant of $19,372.72 to assist in purchasing a new combination oven and steamer. Debie Taylor, the School Nutrition Supervisor, applied for the USDA Equipment Assistance Grant and placed the new appliance at Livingston Middle school.

New Online Registration for the 2022-2023 School Year

We are excited to announce that all schools in Overton County will use online registration for the upcoming school year. The district is also making registration available earlier and for the entire month of May. We hope these changes are more convenient for families and are helpful in preparing for the upcoming school year.
