NEW: Remote Learner Center

We are launching a new Remote Learner Center as part of our district website. This location will aggregate resources for parents and students to support remote learners.

Mental Health Resources

There’s always been a need to address mental health, perhaps now
more than ever. We hope these resources will be beneficial to you
and your family. If you need further assistance, you can also
contact your school counselor.

Overton County Schools Reopening Plan

Please take a moment to read our district plan for reopening schools. Please use the link at the end of the article to preregister your child for the 2020-2021 school year.

Yearbooks Available!

LMS yearbooks are still available for purchase. The printing has been delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but we should receive them by late summer. If you wish to purchase a yearbook, you may send a check for $32 to LMS at 216 Bilbrey St., Livingston, TN 38570. Please include your child's name on the check. You may also come by the school during regular meal pick-up times on Monday and Wednesday from 8 to 8:45 a.m. Please email me at dsmith@overtoncountyschools.net if you have any questions.

8th Grade Belongings Pick-up/School Items Return

Tomorrow, Thursday, May 14, from 5 to 7 PM will be the designated time for 8th graders to pick up their belongings, report cards, and diplomas and to return any items that belong to the school including Chromebooks and chargers, textbooks, library books, and band instruments.

Please make sure to return your Chromebook in clean and good condition. If you have seriously damaged your Chromebook, such as a broken screen, you will be responsible to pay for that tomorrow evening.

Please stay in your cars so that we can maintain proper social distance. You will be directed into specific lanes of traffic based on homeroom teacher.

We are so sorry that the school year has ended this way, especially for our 8th graders, but we are committed to continuing to honor them via social media and local newspapers, and more posts and articles will be coming soon.
