Livingston Academy was honored to receive the Anne Dallas Dudley Award yesterday, our school’s third reception of the distinction. This award, named for the Volunteer State’s best-known suffragette, is given to Tennessee schools successful in registering 100% of eligible students to vote. LA’s initiative was spearheaded by Miss Jodi McDonald (not pictured). Presenting the award was State Representative Ed Butler; accepting were students Joseph Bohorquez and Ansleigh Crace and principal Richard Melton. Also awarded was Overton County Administrator of Elections Craig Story. Thank you to everyone involved in making this happen!
